All ya need is a toilet paper roll, peanut butter smeared on it, and roll it in bird feed. We punched some holes for the hanger. And then we tied it in a tree and waited, and waited for the wild birds to flawk.

In the making...

This feeder is right out the kitchen window. While getting my camera, I heard one of the kids say...."LOOK A BIRD!! HE LOVES ME!!" hee. Ya see we kept spooking the birds away. And this one stayed. So naturally that means LOVE. Here birdy, birdy, birdy...

You are such a good mom to do such projects with your kids. Did the homemade bird feeders work?

Mom of the year! Thats a fun little project and what bird would not love your boys?
You are a brave girl to let your boys smear peanut butter on a toilet paper roll, and then roll it in bird seed! Sounds like one big mess, but a real fun one for the kids. I agree with Star...you are Mom of the Year!
