WE REAP WHAT WE SOW

So you know your a true city dude when planting a garden is a complete and total spiritual experience!! Seriously...I am witnessing a miracle daily!! We have loved seeing our seeds sprout!! All of our hard work is paying off. My boys love their new job of watering the garden. We have a friend that helped me understand a bit about Square foot gardening...I still know very little but what a fun experience for a first time gardener!!! And what a HOOT watching where the seeds are sprouting since the boys kinda sprinkled it here and there! We did end up planting corn in the earth instead of the grow box, and also our pumpkins! I even threw in a few sun flowers, as it reminded me of my mom. I remember one summer how amazed I was as we pulled them out and added a little salt then roasted them. We always had a big garden, and I did help some, and I do have fond memories of going to garden with my mom. But I don't think I appreciate the miracle until now. Little late for the birds and the bee's talk! LOL

Memory Park

West Jordan Memory Park on Memorial Day.It was a very nice service to honor the Military Servicemen. There was a true reverence. And even some fun stuff little boys love! Getting to watch a Apache helicopter land was extremely exciting for my boys. And the canon's blasting off, etc
We were so excited to spend the time with both sets of grandparents too!!
As both our dad's are Veterans..."Our personal hero's!! " It was a very moving program. Senator Hatch gave a very nice speech and the music was very moving...
We managed to squeeze in our BBQ and running around the park too. All and all big thumbs up for this holiday weekend.

My portrait Priceless

What an awesome mothers day!! We spread it out over the weekend! It made it so much more enjoyable getting to spend Mothers day with both my Mom's and my family. I have so many pictures to upload but never enough time. So here are a few note worthy memorabilia I will treasure forever! My hubs was so so good to me!! Took care of dinner and the dishes!! And then today really took on the kids while tons of family were here making it more possible to visit. I am so so grateful for MY mom. And all the Mothers!! And especially those with a mothers heart who aches for children of there own. I was one for many years...Its strange how that pain is still kinda there when I reflect upon those years? humf. Anyways...My heart is over flowing all the same!! I hope all the Mothers felt honored today.
I love you mom's.

All this is even better than a macorni necklace. Which I will treaure all the same! And I am serious!! hee :)

Summer is around the corner...

Just a few random pic's...getting excited for summer!!!!
I have been busy painting my crafty room. Its so much more cheery now! Still bunch of cleaning and putting back ta-do, but I thought I better do a shout out and ASK is it--- SUMMER YET?---- Its taking forever to get here. Today was rainy..but we have had some GORGEOUS DAYS!! Its sooo nice to be able to play out side!

These pic's below are from 2 summers ago. So my youngest is now the age of my older boys in these pictures. So I think my youngest will be in for some fun. I personally love eating too many Popsicle's. And BBQing...I can smell it now....
Ok so one of my boys "FUNNIES" as of late is calling my hub's (DUMP TRUCK) thats right...then he will hand him things and say: "here recycle this!" heeee
We MUST BE GREEN!!??

Egg Hunt's & Dinner's

Some fun times on Easter Sunday!! We were able to see both sets of Grandparents and had TWO dinners!! Are we blessed or what? We even have tons of left overs!! Both of our cute mom's sent us with big doggie bags!! Yummmm... AND THANK YOU!!
So some of the more funny things that come to mind that happen yesterday are, my dear hub's getting the boys dressed for church and putting the the 3T on the 4 yr old and so the littlest guy was drowning in a size "6" big boy shirt!! ha!! I couldn't find a good moment to change em' either! hee O well...funny memory...and apparently its my fault because I had them all lying out. ?? whatever ??...hee
Also during our Easter program one of my little guys kept putting his hands over his mouth and then his WHOLE face!! The crowd must have been overwhelming? I am not sure that was it though...because when it was time to exit the stand...he STAYED up there and leaned his elbow and plopped his chin in his hands!! He had to be retrieved!! I was laughing so hard!! It really was a crack up! But the entire Easter Sacrament meeting was amazingly well done. The spirit was strong!! I am still amazed!

Then my littlest, his new thing to say is "Mommy "YOU" funny!" But his tone is the funny part....darn if I don't have a video clip for you!! It is so cute!
I was pleasantly surprised to find the kids counting how many pictures of Christ they found in there eggs and they were genuinely thrilled!! They also got a kick out of the coins!! Don't worry they had there dose of jelly beans too!

I ALWAYS TRY AND SHARE SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS HERE YA GO...

Happy Easter

Nothing is more absolutely universal than the resurrection. Every living being will be resurrected. “As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” (1 Cor. 15:22.)

Angels appeared and said simply, “Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen.” (Luke 24:3–6.) Nothing in history equals that dramatic announcement: “He is not here, but is risen.”

I like to think of all the bunnies and blossoms, Easter egg's , baby chic's as a "NEW" entity. Celebrating the renewing of spring, love, joy and happiness. Easter is a celebration of happiness since it is the day that Christ came back to us.
Wishing all a wonderful holiday!!

Here we have some very festive Easter Egg cookie decorating! :)
And a super sticky one!!

Glub....
So my hub's ATE his before I had a chance to snap his master piece . No wonder we call him the cookie monster. Although I heard Cookie Monster is a Veggie lovin' monster now? Now is that ANY kind fun? They should have just come up with a new veggie monster! Just my ever so humble opinion, on the off the subject-ness! hee

Ninja Warrior's

goooooooo green!! Ok here we have a first soccer practice and first soccer game. You can tell which one belongs to me because he is very aware of the camera. And of me. I don't know if he heard one thing the coach said? He couldn't keep his eyes off his mom and dad. It was breaking my heart how worried I could see he was. Plus the sunny day was deceptive! With the wind chill it was below freezing I am sure!! This little guy has wanted to play soccer and has been asking me when he will get to play. And he is very specific "on the big field" But like most new experiences he was visibly out of his comfort zone. I know it will be good exposure. After all he did want to practice after he got home...but dang...I feel like old mother hen!! He is too young! I felt like I jumped the gun. EARTH SHATTERING CHALLENGE? no but still breaks my heart. gotta let the little guys learn.
After all I am FINALLY A SOCCER MOM! Where are those fab sunglasses anyway? ... hee
